Account Deletion
This page explains what to do to delete your account and the data attached to it in the Falmira mobile app (developer: Süleyman Burak Sak).
Before You Delete
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription you started through a store. To stop being billed, you must also cancel the subscription from your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
Your unused tokens are deleted as well, and no refund is given for them. You can use up your tokens before you delete your account.
Deleting From Inside the App
Open the Falmira app, go to Settings from the Profile tab and tap "Delete Account & All Data". Before you confirm, the app tells you separately that your unused tokens will end without a refund.
Requesting Deletion Without the App
If you have removed the app from your device, you can request deletion by emailing appfalmira@gmail.com. We carry out your request once we have verified that the account is yours.
Including the email address or phone number registered to your account helps us find it faster.
What Is Deleted
Deletion first removes your photos, then your account and every record attached to it: your profile details, the readings we generated, your chat history, your token records and your notification records.
Your free-text entries and the readings generated for you are stored encrypted on our servers, with a separate encryption key for each user. When you delete your account that key is destroyed too. Without the key the content cannot be recovered, which is why deletion cannot be undone.
What Is Kept and Why
Records we are legally required to retain are not deleted. Records relating to purchases may be kept for the period required by financial legislation. Apart from those, personal data that can be linked to your account is deleted.
How Long It Takes
Deletion started from inside the app begins immediately. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days at the latest, once your identity has been verified.
